Shipping Rates
We offer a choice of shipping methods and rates that depend on the size, amount and shipping destination of the order, as follows:
United States
- Free Shipping: We offer free ground shipping on selected items from time to time, as advertised on our site
- SuperSaver Rates: for selected items, we offer $6.95 flat-rate ground shipping
- FedEx Ground, Express, 2-Day and Standard Overnite: we offer various classes of expedited service based on negotiated FedEx rates
- USPS First Class and Priority Mail: we offer First Class and Priority Mail services based on USPS rates
- LTL Common Carrier: For heavier items, we offer $95 flat-rate curbside service via various common carriers
- White-Glove Delivery - National & California: for wine cabinets and wine furniture that require inside delivery, we offer inside delivery and setup based on negotiated carrier rates
International
- FedEx Ground Canada: based on negotiated FedEx rates to Canada
- FedEx International Economy: based on negotiated FedEx rates outside the US
- Priority Mail International: based on USPS rates outside the US
- LTL Common Carrier: For heavier items, we offer $95 flat-rate curbside service via various common carriers
- White-Glove Delivery - National & California: for wine cabinets and wine furniture that require inside delivery, we offer inside delivery and setup based on negotiated carrier rates
If the correct rate does not appear in your shopping cart when you place your order, please contact us via email or call us toll-free at 877.888.9137. We will not only refund the difference, we also will apply a 5% discount to the items that you purchased in your order.
Availability and Fulfillment
We offer a broad range of wine accessories in our store, with different fulfillment methods based on the item and the vendor. At any given time, the availability of items can vary as follows:
- In Stock - These items are in stock, either in our warehouse or in our vendors' facilities, and are available for immediate delivery.
- Low Inventory - We have low quantities of these items in stock, and it is possible that the item will be back-ordered at the time we receive your order .
- Pre Order - We do not stock these items, and therefore they require lead times prior to fulfillment.
- Please Call - These items may be sold out temporarily. Please call us at 877.888.9137 to get estimated timing and stock status.
Shipping and Handling
We offer various shipping methods depending on the size and weight of the item, as follows:
- FedEx - We offer various classes of service by FedEx for items that weigh less than 100lbs. Please note: for high-value merchandise, a signature may be required at the time of delivery.
- Common Carrier - We ship most items that weigh between 100 - 300 lbs via common carriers. Common carriers generally deliver orders within a week from the time of shipment. Common carrier deliveries are to the curb; inside delivery is available for an additional charge.
- Home Delivery - We offer Home Delivery service with inside delivery to a ground floor and setup for most items that weigh more than 300 lbs. Items shipped via Home Delivery generally are delivered within 2-3 weeks from the time of shipment.
Home Delivery Service
For a limited time, we are offering free Home Delivery service on all Le Cache wine cabinets and Howard Miller wine furniture shipped within the continental U.S. (HI, AK, PR and addresses outside the U.S. are excluded from this free shipping promotion). Home Delivery service generally ranges from $350 to $950 per unit depending on the model purchased and destination.
Standard shipping includes a lift gate-equipped truck, inside delivery to 1st floor or any floor accessible to an elevator (within 100' of truck), unpacking, debris removal, and setup with a total site time not to exceed 1/2 hour. Additional charges may be required if:
- You are located outside a regular service area;
- Additional men are required to safely perform delivery services at your location;
- Extra site time is required to provide delivery services to your location;
- Your location has extraordinary delivery conditions - such as stairs, distance to truck greater than 100' or difficult access; and/or
- Delivery appointments are scheduled with 24 hour telephone notice prior to delivery. If you require a more specific time delivery, or if you require a weekend delivery, additional charges may apply.
In the Event of Freight Damage
You are responsible for inspecting both the packaging and the merchandise at the time of delivery. In the event that your order arrives with damage, you must describe the condition of the packaging and the merchandise on the bill of lading. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a denied insurance claim and/or billings for nonrefundable freight charges.
In the event of freight damage, the freight company has, at its discretion, the right to repair or replace the damaged item, provided that the item is in “as new” condition after the repair.
