Wine Cellar Humidity Chart
Wine Cellar Humidity Chart: CellarPro Cooling Systems
Summary:
CellarPro wine cellar refrigeration systems are designed to maintain optimal temperature and relative humidty (RH) conditions in all but the most extreme (ie dry) environments. Our adjustable humidity system will work in white and green shaded areas without the addition of addition moisture into the wine cellar environment.
Notes:
- The chart shows the RH ranges for wine cellars using CellarPro refrigeration systems at various ambient temperature and RH levels.
- Ambient temperature and RH should be measured at the points of infiltration into the wine cellar. In well-constructed and sealead wine cellars, the primary source of infiltration will be the door during ingress and egress.
- Gray shaded areas indicate conditions that are below ideal wine storage conditions, and require the addition of moisture to the wine cellar environment in order to achieve +50% RH.
- Green shaded areas indicated high dew point conditions (ie the dew point is above 55 degrees) that are likely to generate excess condensation, especially during the initial pulldown.
